Govind Dosa
A roadside bandi, the Charminar by the side, old city wooden walls and old houses outlining the entire area around, the whiff of the attar being sold nearby, Chor bazaar merchandise selling briskly all around you, if it is a Sunday that you have chosen to visit Govinds Bandi, its not just a taste of those wonderful Butter Dosas that you will savour, but an entire experience around it. Truly Legendary in its own forte, Govind dishes out some of the best Dosas you will ever try in your life for the next 5 years too. Carefully cut out pieces of Amul butter, quite a generous size that, is splurged with a mix of spices and mashed tomatoes is what goes over your special, perfectly crispy, nnbot too over burnt and that exact level of heat gives you the famous Govinds bandi Dosa. An experience in itself. Do try out his famous Butter Idly or the wonderful preparation, Tawa Idly, you shall be presently surprised. Its just a roadside Bandi, you might wonder, but the taste, a class apart. Usually, it is always crowded and especially on a Sunday, your order for Dosa could make you wait for an hour sometimes, but trust me, its worth the wait.Chutneys
Excellent restaurant for veggies. It offers both north & south Indian food. It's very crowded but still, I was impressed with the efficiency of managing the system effortlessly
The most essential item in a typical South Indian breakfast is not the Idly or the Dosa but the Chutneys, Podi or Powders and the Sambar. And the Chutney's restaurants have totally captured that essence. From super soft Idlies to steaming Filter Coffee, they cater to your everyday tastes and have also a few specials like the famed Steamed Dosa made without a single drop of oil for those of you who are calorie conscious. The decor and the ambience are pleasant and the staff is amicable too.
Lunch / Dinner
Rayalseema ruchulu
Game for spicy seema style food, filled with loads of spices and more meat, here is your bet. Rayalaseema ruchulu as the name suggests, serves the best of the varities of the non vegetarian cuisine especially famous in that part of Andhra. Quite different from the regular spicy Andhra food, this place not only serves some of the best meat dishes in the city, but boasts about its quality and variety too. The food is exceptional, there is no second thoughts. The Rayalseema special Mutton fry is divine, with the mutton soft and succelent and well marinated in spices. Try some of the sea food varieties, like the Royala pulusu and Fish pulusu, and you will be really overwhelmed. Perfect mix of tangy and spicy taste to the meat and you will love it. They serve some of the off beat dishes like the Rabbit fry or the Quail curry, commonly available in the seema but made specially for you . All in all, if you want some good Andhra style style cuisine, here is your best betA' La Liberty
A great family place for vegetarians. The beauty of this place is that, they serve, not only Indian, but multi-cusine Veg food, and although I wouldn't say it's cheap, it's definitely not overpriced either (to make sure the crowd is decent). And like I said, a great family place - you usually have toddlers running about between tables while parents (and staff) keep a watch. Also available, a buffet which lets you taste a variety of cuisines from chat, north Indian gravies to Italian, Chinese etc. The ambiance is very beautiful.

Beyond Cofee
A nice place to sit out with friends, or to keep that conversation running, Beyond Coffee, on Road # 36, is a good place for an evening cuppa or some late evening dinner or tid bits over some good coffee. Some of their brews like the Piccaso's passion or the Leonardo's secret are quite interesting, especially the Cafe Mocha or the Lattes. If you want to try some authentic local coffee brew, try the Araku emerald brew at Beyond Coffee.
Night Life
10 Downing Street
10 Downing Street always has been a favorite and has had really great parties. The entire ambiance is themed around an old time Irish/English pub with the wooden tables and old styled lights and leather couches. Just enough light for a quiet conversation on a lazy afternoon over beers and laughter, or you could hit the floor with some crazy EDM music playing on the Saturday night and some brilliant cocktails and shooters. The Whisky sour is quite nice. They also serve some good food especially the sandwiches and the Indian food is also quite good, though it is quite ironical that they serve Indian food, but the Hyderabadi palate is satisfied quite well. its always a party at TDS,
Kismet
If you are bored on a Saturday and wondering where to head for some good drinks, great music and a fantastic party. Kismet is the best nightclub in Hyderabad as of now, with the most happening parties and the best events in town. Priced moderately with a pint of beer costing Rs 185, the interiors are quite chic and quite classy. The lights which they have used are also quite nice and gives the proper look of a good lounge bar. Located in the centre of the city at Somajiguda, thats just a statement how it is the party epicentre of Hyderabad now. A must visit place if your game for some good electronic music and cocktails.
